It’s been just a week since the BBNaija show came to an end. The housemates have been doing media rounds since. One of their stops was AY Live, which took place yesterday.
During a particular segment of the show, AY had the housemates line up behind him as he preached that Nigerians should forgive Kemen for what he did. Never mind that TBoss was standing right there, he had people cheering for Kemen and even had Kemen do press ups for effect.
Twitter NG has been in an uproar ever since. Do see below:
AY is slime
AY is really daft for devoting a whole session of the show to justifying Kemen's intentions. Trash. #aylive2017
— The Man (@Mrjemba) April 16, 2017
Kemen made a choice and society is forcing tboss to live with the consequences, clap for yourselves ??????
— ON A BREAK (@connybush) April 16, 2017
Just seen a clip of the Kemen/Tboss segment AY did. That was really in poor taste. Smh.
— K10 (@officiallyk10) April 17, 2017
"Shame" on all the comedians using Tboss as material now..and bigger shame on asking people to support Kemen..
— They Call Me Billy (@OlanreO) April 17, 2017
Thanks @ I go dye for putting Kemen in his place. You made my night. #aylive2017
— Proudly south south (@84cd69c11df64ae) April 17, 2017
You desperately want Kemen to move on yet you don't see anything wrong with AY constantly dragging Tboss from moving on.
— The Man (@Mrjemba) April 17, 2017
Hear the sexual assault apologists roar:
You people are overdoing it as regards Kemen. He got disqualified and apologized for his conduct.Do u want his head on the platter? Move on
— Baṣọ̀run Gáà (@Oddy4real) April 17, 2017
You want him ostracized because of the BBNaija incident? Lol, you are overdoing this outrage thing, TBH.
— Baṣọ̀run Gáà (@Oddy4real) April 17, 2017
I am waiting for one village idiot to come here and say I am endorsing rape.
— Baṣọ̀run Gáà (@Oddy4real) April 17, 2017
The most annoying is that guys on this TL have done worse than kemen off camera. And some of them are criticising kemen as if they are saint
— Nahorias (@eyiteeonline) April 17, 2017
Here is a list of things Kemen has to go through, before BossNation will consider if they'll forgive him or not. pic.twitter.com/NLuQgNesSy
— Umeh and 99 others (@UmehOMA) April 17, 2017
What he did is wrong, everyone knows that. But for how long will u crucify someone who has apologized? Let it slide. https://t.co/vukbjv2rUu
— Umeh and 99 others (@UmehOMA) April 17, 2017
It's her price to pay Mehn. For the humiliation caused to kamen https://t.co/DsK93kgLoU
— Hoverer of stincts (@stancozy) April 17, 2017
Emotional blackmail
Kemen this, kemen that, is it until the guy hangs himself in his room b4 u hypocrites will be done bashing him on twitter for groping Tboss?

Jesus makes an entrance
You always pray to God for forgiveness but don't want to forgive kemen.. If God was unforgiving as you twitter lots, we would all be dead
— Samson ?? (@MisturrSam) April 17, 2017
I didnt wanna 'shook' mouth in the Kemen issue, but d way u guys are painting it like he should die. As if Jesus didnt give y'all 2nd chance
— Wale Adetona (@iSlimfit) April 17, 2017
Sarcasm too
"Kemen apologised what more do you people want?"
Remember folks, you can rape & assault women all you like 'long as you say sorry after.
— Big Daddy Gersh (@__gershom) April 17, 2017
Not an apology
Kemen issued a statement to the media as regards the sexual assault. That wasn't an apology
Let's get it right.
— MusicSoulChild (@officialAnietie) April 17, 2017
TBoss’ move?
And Tboss might be signed to a contract but she needs to put her foot down on going to places as Kemen's equal "brand wise".
— Name: (@DamiElebe) April 17, 2017
Aren’t Payporte and BBNaija complicit?
I'd like to know why the organizers of BBNaija and sponsors still associated with Kemen after disqualifying him.
— Osagie Alonge (@OsaGz) April 17, 2017
When organizations and celebrated personalities are backing a proven sexual predator, where and how do we start to change mindsets? ??
— Ms. Lamide A. (@LAkintobi) April 17, 2017
Kemen, a word:
Kemen! please play the silence game. You can never justify that sort of act. Ordinarily in a developed country, he might go to jail but…
— Dotuncoolfm (@iamDo2dtun) April 17, 2017
It was same Kemen that said he would get GIFTY drunk and bang her and the next day. pretend he was drunk too. Biggie warned him.
— Chuky Unadulterated (@ChukyUnfazed) April 17, 2017
Why is Kemen still talking? You can't tell a victim how long they can be unhappy about their experience. I blame Payporte https://t.co/sxd3qI9orp
— Rosanwo (@rosanwo) April 16, 2017
All the boys that support kemen are lowkey potential rapists, they are the ones that justify the "u came to my house so why shouldnt i knack
— Uchechukwu (@americanajebota) April 17, 2017
Don’t get it twisted
Place on hand on your chest, take a deep breath, and say out loud:
KEMEN IS NOT A/THE VICTIM!
Now, repeat it 7 times.
— Online Olúbàdàn | (@gboukzi) April 17, 2017
If you watched your Kemen violate your sister or wife or child on international TV, will u be saying this nonsense?
— HRH Adabekee? (@cremechic11) April 17, 2017
You cannot see anything wrong with Kemen's actions because it probably happened to you and calling it molestation would mean 1/
— Adenike Lanlehin (@omotomilola) April 17, 2017
A huge factory reset to your brain. To the guys that are totally behind him, it's obvious you've done it or are still doing it. Well done.
— Adenike Lanlehin (@omotomilola) April 17, 2017
Avid followers of the show are saying the guy right from the scratch had a predilection for weird sexual statements but no, you who
— Adenike Lanlehin (@omotomilola) April 17, 2017
Probably watched weekly highlights think the disqualification was enough for what he did. May God help your head.
— Adenike Lanlehin (@omotomilola) April 17, 2017
It still boils down to the fact that women are still seen as objects that were solely created for men's pleasure.
— Adenike Lanlehin (@omotomilola) April 17, 2017
We have no right to complain when men touch us inappropriately, you complain about catcalls and you get "ehn ehn, better be happy"
— Adenike Lanlehin (@omotomilola) April 17, 2017
At least they're still calling you.
God will judge all of you that support sexual molestation/assault – yes both men and women.— Adenike Lanlehin (@omotomilola) April 17, 2017
Female solidarity, perhaps?
I'm puzzled at the women who keep saying stop talking bout the Kemen & Tboss issue. It's not an "issue"
— Bolanle Olukanni (@bolanleolukanni) April 17, 2017
Kemen sexually violated Tboss. He did something that in any other country he would have already been arrested for !!!
— Bolanle Olukanni (@bolanleolukanni) April 17, 2017
I can't for the life of me understand what AY was talking about saying he didn't kill someone . Does he know what Kemens actions have done.
— Bolanle Olukanni (@bolanleolukanni) April 17, 2017
Hypocrites, all of you
RE Kemen. People can make all sorts of intellectual arguments justifying it until you ask them
What if she was your sister?
— Tunde Leye (@tundeleye) April 17, 2017
If Kemen had sexually harassed one of the male housemates, Nigerians won't be this forgiving.
— Dame Jayla Peperempe (@Miss_Jayla) April 17, 2017
Luke 17:3 '' if ur brother or sister sins against against you, rebuke them;and if they repent, forgive them ''
Has kemen honestly repented? https://t.co/DgXj0HWq0L— Y.O. (@yojora) April 17, 2017
I keep seeing these "if Kemen commits suicide tweets" and with every new one I want to say what is truly in my heart but I won't
— regina phalange (@trusssssmidaddy) April 17, 2017
Kemen was wrong. All you hypocrites talking about him but conveniently neglecting Debbie Rise, I see you.
— Deji Faremi (@deejayfaremi) April 17, 2017
Lastly
The TL is just looking like Lagos traffic on a Monday. There's Kemen, heartbroken rich guy, cake woman talking trash etc… Ugh!
