There’s a lockdown, but MURIC is making sure we aren’t starved of jokes | The #YNaijaCover

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) group says the strange deaths in Kano is part of the grand plan to reduce the populations of Muslims in Nigeria. Nigeria is almost evenly split between a predominantly Muslim north and a predominantly Christian south.

Kano has dominated the news cycle lately for the spike in coronavirus cases stemming from community transmission, and it will be interesting to see how this is handled. This isn’t the first time that MURIC has been in the news, and saying ridiculous statements. The organization threatened legal action against Falz when he released his 2019 single This Is Nigeria, and they can’t seem to catch a break.
