Today is #WorldTeachersDay and Sam Hart, a media aide to the Governor of Abia state has done this topic justice. He didn’t just tweet random stuff about the importance of teachers, he took us down memory lane, talked about every single one of his teachers he remembers and their impact on his life.
It’s so a rich story, it’s made us want to go call up each and every one of our teachers to say thank you.
Take a look:
On #WorldTeachersDay, I take out time to appreciate my teachers who stooped so I could stand on their shoulders & see the world.

I attended Balato Nursery School in Sokoto. Can't remember any of my teachers. But I remember happy playtimes & being pushed on a swing.

On another day, another thread, we'll appreciate University Lecturers. For today, on #WorldTeachersDay2017, God bless the above teachers.

For the record, save for Nursery school, I've attended public schools all my life. Shame on all those who destroyed our public school system

Shame, shame, shame.
