Oladepo Ifedolapo, a First Class graduate of Transport Management, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, is dead and now buried. She was buried in Osogbo, Osun on Thursday. She died in Kano camp, after NYSC neglected to handle her health complaints with despatch. Ukeme Monday, a First-Class graduate of Petroleum Engineering, died in NYSC Zamfara camp, and Elechi Chiyerom died in Bayelsa camp as well.
The deaths of these young ones cannot be in vain.
See below thoughts of Nigerians regarding these unfortunate events:

In a sane country, the death of two corpers in NYSC orientation camp is enough to start a debate on reforming the redundant program.

Everyone agrees the NYSC needs to be reformed. But as usual with Nigeria, the real conversation won't start until 50 years time.

the scheme has long outlived it's usefulness if we are being honest.

The shear amount of money FG spends on NYSC is enough incentive to scrap it.
Include Death of young people and you cannot but wonder.

#NYSCWickedness the whole essence of nysc has been lost. There is no sense of service there again. Our govt has also become very negligent.

A call up letter should not amount to a death summons.
