And so it is that we have not heard the last of the ‘television madness:’ #BBNaija.
Seeing as the show ended on Sunday, members of the viewing public have had time to digest their feelings about the show and write their reviews about what made the show tick and why Efe, the winner was everyone’s favourite. Demola Olarewaju wrote an article, titled the 7 key reasons Efe won BBNaija. It’s an interesting take.
The former presidential spokesman to Goodluck Jonathan, Reuben Abati, wrote one too. It also was an interesting take, too until this part:
And the people of God lifted up their voices in unison and said EWWWWWWWW.
How on earth did Reuben Abati, former presidential spokesman, former chairman, Guardian editorial board, journalists from back in the day (veteran, even), think it was cool, nay, okay by any stretch of the imagination to write a piece- which is meant to be a think piece- dissecting a lady’s breasts? Was this an attempt at spicing up the article? Was it supposed to make people sit up and take notice? How was this supposed to add to the intellectual quality of the article?
We are confused and short of words.
Any wonder Reuben Abati is currently the number one trending topic on Twitter NG right now? Do see what Nigerians have to say:
What the what?

I need someone to confirm that Reuben Abati did not write this nonsense I just read.

Those "evil spirits" are obviously still chasing after Reuben Abati years after leaving the Villa. What about T-Boss' boobs now???
— Teezon! (@TeezyFBaby1) April 11, 2017
I don't even like TBoss but Reuben Abati's write-up about her is totally inconsiderate.
— Mo. (@__Oluwatosin__) April 11, 2017
Reuben abati didn't watch bbnaija…this was how he messed up goodluck's administration with his incompetence
— boss chic (@bawsechic1) April 11, 2017
Everybody that loses reputation through politics tries to be relevant through entertainment. Dele Momodu and Reuben Abati are good examples.

Oga @abati1990, you were better off quiet. That article was in very bad taste and this your struggle for attention is sickenening. Too poor
— Proudlymommagirls (@iphieajike) April 11, 2017
And pls in future @abati1990 Kindly allow the Private Jet owners to speak for themselves. You are not their spokesperson.
— Proudlymommagirls (@iphieajike) April 11, 2017
Reuben abati is listing after Cossy orjiakor's boobs and felt dragging tboss down would make him feel better…pathetic man

— Daddy 'Deji by Taylor Loran (@obadafidii) April 11, 2017
Even if Reuben Abati speaks the truth, his image as an adroit writer has been buried in Aso Rock. The spirit of Aso Rock now lives in him.

These 3 comments on @bellanaija are very apt responses to the quite disgraceful article written by Reuben Abati @abati1990 . What a Shame! pic.twitter.com/kZ3d7cmhby

Reuben Abati has outlived his relevance. I can bet that this was the exact reaction he envisaged for that article. Struggle for relevance

Abati is right
For once, I agree with Reuben Abati. Well… Apart from the boobs aspect though. The article is a perfect summary of the whole show. pic.twitter.com/QvPoZFqen6

That was a thought provoking piece from Reuben Abati, asides dwelling so much on Tboss. I'll never get this so involved in Big Brother show.
— BONARIO NNAGS (@bonario89) April 11, 2017
I totally agree with Reuben abati's write-up, those who are against him are the air heads who watched the filthy show called bigbrothernaija
— kopgerian (@kloppgerian) April 11, 2017
Big Brother Naija 2017 is something that should never happen again in the shape we have seen.
Reuben Abati

Tiwa, too?
While everyone was all anxious about who would win the BBNaija show, Uncle Reuben Abati's attention was on a Tiwa's waist and thigh. pic.twitter.com/o55E0Udljv
