TICKER: “I don’t dance, you don’t talk” – Chris Brown’s lawyer shuts him up in court

Chris Brown is going to spend another year on supervised probation, according to a California judge who made a decision on the case. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg and thhe prosecutors found themselves confused by a “cryptic” spreadsheet of the hours that Brown has served as a condition of his probation.

Brown is on supervised probation for assaulting the singer Rihanna back in 2009. He goes on tour around the world starting on November 14th. The probation officer in Brown’s case said that the singer, ”appears to be making a sincere effort to comply with terms and conditions of probation.”

The report recommended that Brown remain on supervised probation under the same conditions as before. He appeared in court next to his mother and attorney, Mark Geragos. He didn’t speak on his own behalf.

“I don’t dance, you don’t talk,” his attorney told him when he attempted to speak.
