Today’s Noisemakers: Donald Trump, Femi Adesina and the artist that says his colleagues should be jailed

Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.

Here’s our list from today:

1. Donald Trump

Well, we already understand that US President Donald Trump would not stop his lashing out at those he describes as “opponents” of his “American Dream”. This time he doesn’t face “Fake News”, he calls out “Democrats”.

2. Femi Adesina

President Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, in reference to the ailing leader, says” there’s nothing new under the sun” and, for those talking about Buhari’s health – he likens to Shimei. You won’t get all he said if you don’t read what he wrote below:

3. Flooding

A Twitter user, @prestige_patric went again on social media posting pictures of a flooded area – Akobi in Surulere, asking concerned authorities to salvage the situation. It looks to be becoming worse.

4. Blackface

Nigerian singer, Blackface is not ready to stop his “dislike for those he claims have plagiarised/stolen” songs and made it their own. Remember his issue with 2Baba? Well… this time, he wrote on Twiiter that those who stolen songs should be imprisoned – Pointing particular fingers at top Nigerian artists.

5. Mercy Johnson vs Uche Maduagwu
