Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 Issa Rae
It’s TGIF, a perfect time to lose one’s head in thaclubs or stay in doors musing on the opposite sex. We wager that’s what Issa Rae was up to when she tweeted this:

Only for Uncle ITK to come strolling by, checking into sombori’smessages wey dem no call him name to tweet this. Let’s play devil’s advocate and say he was high at the time of posting. It is TGIF, innit?

Issa did not want to know nuthing, she clapped back with centuries old female criticism.

Brother Dre then threw this angle in, just for kicks

In summary…
Today is, as every day is, a good day to listen to women of color.

Thank you, sir.
2. Dino Melaye ft Feyi Fawehinmi
It goes against every grain of common sense to thank Dino Melaye for embarrassing Nigeria with this outfit, looking like Father Christmas threw up on him.

3. Matthew Page
The author and International Affairs Fellow shares some insights:
A few blocks away from where this picture is taken is the Ritz-Carlton. They love WorldBank/IMF meeting week: suites run $15,000+/night. > https://t.co/ISGe9Rrvcb

Aha.
4. Oby Ezekwesili
Mr President had another row with Nigerians today after the President of the World Bank disclosed that Buhari had told the bank to focus on Northern Nigeria. In nation already stewing with ethnic tension, people did not receive this news well- until the President’s team clarified Buhari’s words. Unfortunately, they were not diplomatic about it.
Hence Dr Dipo’s prayer:
May God bless Nigeria with an inclusive, open minded and detribalised leader.
— Dr. Dipo Awojide (@OgbeniDipo) October 13, 2017
Amin.
Interestingly, Oby Ezekwesili, one of this administration’s least favourite persons actually spoke up in the FG’s defence.

5. Moses Ochonu
The lecturer is not at all smitten with Buhari’s defence. He leaves us with a food for thought:
As far as Onye Nkuzi is concerned, the Presidency is acting like a Peacock and something must be done about it.
The National Assembly should focus on limiting the powers of the Presidency.

6. Aisha Yesufu
But for fellow BBOG activist, Buhari is done for.
7. Pst Gbenro
Pastor of The Baptizing Church, Abuja dipped his feet into the rivers of Political Twitter for a bit because the state of our roads compelled him.

8. Seun Onigbinde
To show that it’s a Nigerian thing, Co-founder of Budgit takes up Lagos roads.
The standard y'all take from Lagos State Govt is so terrible. Just look at the substandard work at Lekki Expressway junctions.
— Oluseun Onigbinde (@seunonigbinde) October 13, 2017
Reactions:
I have always said this, we are so used to poor governance that mediocrity seems like heaven to lagosians n Nigerians.
