Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 Nedu Ekeke
Things calmed down considerably on Political Twitter today, perhaps because South East Governors banned all IPOB activities last night. Or maybe everybody just needed a break, if only for one day. We still caught one or two commentators going about regular activities, like Nedu.
He draws a comparison between Osinbajo’s tenure as Acting President and Buhari’s return, and this conversation ensued. (Guess Charly Boy now wishes he never orchestrated the #ResumeOrResign protests).
Osinbajo presided over this country for over 3 months & there was peace. An older man returns and sets everywhere on fire. And you hail him.

2. Mercy Abang
While the Nigerian Army has gone off on a tangent, proscribing IPOB as a terrorist organisation, Mercy brings an intriguing report:
I just interviewed the Nigerian foreign affairs minister, asked him questions about the military labelling of IPOB..he heard it first from me pic.twitter.com/6TFuhQlfEw

READ THE INTERVIEW: "The Nigerian military at the time was in some disarray" – Geoffrey Onyeama reacts also on IPOB https://t.co/V5lAdCRhO5 pic.twitter.com/geAFuQ7tXS
— Khaleesi ?? (@AbangMercy) September 16, 2017
IPOB is, as of now, an internal threat,Boko Haram is not an internal threat; it is an international threat

It was clear the Biafran issue was very sensitive to the Minister, felt a little uneasy but attempted to stay on the side of govt+diplomacy pic.twitter.com/8PZcSzR7IY

Officials with him didn't like that I pose d Biafran question with foreign journos in d house, they wanted it private https://t.co/V5lAdCRhO5

No coordination in Buhari's government, he shouldn't expect too much. This is the most disjointed Administration Nigeria has ever seen

Dude is daft then and needs to be axed, can't have so many incompetent men running the affairs of this nation

3. Barr Aniefiok
The Minister of Foreign Affairs may be clueless about the illegality of the Nigerian Army’s pronouncement, so here are the facts from a lawyer’s mouth:
4. Pius Adesanmi
The Professor worries about the floodgates the military has opened with their recent decision to forego legality.
5. Feyi Fawehinmi
Former President of Nigeria, Obasanjo has advised Buhari to sit down with Nnamdi Kanu and discuss issues instead of allowing the army to hold the fort in Abia state. Feyi quickly reached for receipts, showing Baba’s own hard stance about Biafra. Is Obasanjo tryig to get a do-over with Odi?

6. Tunji Andrews
In case you find yourself in Badagry and can’t find an ATM, this notice is for you. You’re welcome:
So in these parts of Badagry with no ATM
A lady with a POS debits your card and gives you cash
N200 less every N10,000
Interesting stuff

Same thing while I was in NYSC camp. No ATMs, dude with POS debits your card and gives you the amount debited minus 10%. https://t.co/tdJJz1kv7D
