1. Disengaged Immigration officers camp outside Aso Rock

Disgruntled officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), who were disengaged from the service, took their protest straight to the President’s door. They were ignored by government officials.

2. Man arrested for naming his dog Buhari

An Ogun state based trader, Joe Chinakwe, was arrested this week for naming his pet dog Buhari. He was reported by his neighbour to the police.

3. Boko Haram releases new video of Chibok girls (WATCH)

Terrorist group, Boko Haram, this week released a new video showing footage of the abducted Chibok school girls. The video was recorded in Arabic and Hausa.

4. Nigeria Police invites over 100,000 applicants after successful first screening

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has said that it has shortlisted 100,000 of the over 300,000 persons that took part in the recently concluded screening at the states and FCT Police Commands.
