President Trump has again urged the U.S. Congress to speed up on one of his core agenda “Tax cuts & reform”. Talks about Tax reform has been the highlight of Trump’s various speeches since early August. From the Phoenix rally to last week’s speech in North Dakota and flurries of tweets, President Trump has made it clear the agenda is his topmost priority.
Trump’s latest emphasis on the topic came from a recent tweet through his official Twitter page. He wrote, “The approval process for the biggest Tax Cut & Tax Reform package in the history of our country will soon begin. Move fast Congress!”

The President’s dire wish of tax cuts and reform has posed a great challenge for Congress especially this September when it has to battle with series of legislative issues amidst Hurricane Harvey and Irma relief aid.
However, there appears to be a silver-lining over the agenda due to the rare unanimity among GOP leaders on the bill. Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell has been ramping supports for the agenda with House Speaker Paul Ryan also meeting various CEOs and business moguls to explain the essence of the proposed policy.
