Trump swears in John Kelly as new White House Chief of Staff

President Trump has sworn in retired Marine Gen. John Kelly as the new White House Chief of staff.

During the Oval Office ceremony, Trump said Kelly would do a “spectacular job”, and took the opportunity to highlight the improving stock market and strong jobs outlook rather than talk about how things need to change under Kelly.

Former White House Chief of Staff was removed by Trump on Friday with Kelly announced as his replacement .The president seems to pick him with the hopes that his military background will bring sanity to the White House amid mounting investigations, probes and alleged leaks.

Cory Lewandowski, Former Trump campaign manager who was also ousted from the campaign in June 2016, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he expected Kelly to”restore order to the staff”.

Speaking about Trump’s style as President, “I say you have to let Trump be Trump. That is what has made him successful over the last 30 years. That is what the American people voted for, and anybody who thinks they’re going to change Donald Trump doesn’t know Donald Trump.
