As the race for the title of April’s Twitter Personality gets more interesting, YNaija pumps up the fun and games. We start off a new series this week called the Twitter Personality Campaign. What is this about? We will be conducting a second set of short interviews which we have tagged ‘Twampaigns’. It is essentially to promote each nominee and push those who possibly haven’t voted to do so for them. We’re just having a little fun!

What’s the name of your Twi-party?

Tweeples Renaissance Party (TRP)

What’s the motto of your twi-party and its symbol?

The motto is: “Tweeting for societal advancement and cultural unification.” Our symbol will be the twitter emblem surrounded by continents of the world being interconnected.

How are you funding your campaign?

The goodwill of some major businessmen who own oil blocks.

Why are you running for Twitter Personality?

For the emancipation of the ordinary tweep and unification of every tweep in this twi-nation.

Who do you consider as your biggest threat in the race?

All of them oooooooo…… I feel like Dele Momodu in the presidential race!

What stands you out from the others?

I’m much more down to earth, easy to relate with, got the biggest beard and of course the most handsome (wink).

If you win, what will you do about people that gbagaun?

Amnesty will be granted to such. If continued, they will be subjected to 72 hours with Honourable Patrick Obayeigbon!

What will be the jail term for those involved in twitfights?

We shall freeze their accounts for 2 months.

What’s your manifesto?

“Giving a voice to the everyday tweep, to be an advocate for those being frustrated by the networks. Providing infrastructural twi-developments and delivering the dividends of twi-democracy.”
