Tyson Fury, Wladimir Klitschko heavyweight boxing rematch cancelled

Tyson Fury’s world heavyweight title rematch with Wladimir Klitschko has been cancelled for a second time.

Fury’s management released a statement saying he has been “declared medically unfit to fight”.

The original rematch scheduled for 9 July at Manchester Arena was postponed in June after Fury injured his ankle.

Fury, 28, beat Ukraine’s Klischko on points in the original bout between the pair in November last year.

“The condition is too severe to allow him to participate,” said promoters.

The rematch was scheduled to hold on Saturday, October, 29, 2016 at the Manchester Arena.
