New York Police Department has released the pictures of the Empire State Building shooter.

The shooter, Jeffrey Johnson, was reported to have shot his former boss, Steven Ercolino, three times in the head outside their former workplace on Friday. Police preliminary findings indicate that Johnson was recently fired by Ercolino which might have led to the shooting.

Johnson, who was wearing a grey suit, ran away from the scene of the crime and was chased by a construction worker who alerted the police.

Nine people were reported injured in the attack but sources say most were hit by police bullets. Three of the victims of the attack still remain the hospital.
