Rihanna posted sun-splashed image of them riding with top down in California

Depending on what day of the week it is, Chris Brown and Rihanna are either crazy in love or seriously, finally done for good.

While rumors have swirled over the past week that they were once again on the outs, on Wednesday Rih seemed to squash those stories with a candid pic of her and Breezy taking a joy(ful) ride. The sun-splashed Instagram shot shows a smiling Brown at the wheel of a convertible with a sunglass-wearing Rihanna leaning in on his shoulder with a sly look on her face.

The caption reads, “This sh– looks like a toupee,” a reference to a line from Brown’s hit “Look At Me Now.” The next image uploaded by Rihanna had her posing near Brown’s Porsche convertible in a canary yellow dress with the hashtag #LilMissSunshine.

The happy couple photo op is just the latest confusing chapter in the pair’s recent love life, coming just days after Rihanna commented during a concert at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, “How many of you are in love? How many of you hate love? How many of you don’t f—ing understand it? … I’m in that group.”

Brown was on “The Today Show” last week, where he told Matt Lauer that “everything’s good” between the two. But lips started flapping again on Saturday when he was spotted holding hands with 22-year-old waitress Keisha Kimball at L.A.’s Playhouse nightclub. She’s denied the two are an item, saying she’s always Breezy’s server at the club, and, besides, “I don’t go for black guys.”

At the very least, we know they’ll be together on “Put It Up,” which is slated to appear on his upcoming album, X.

“So we did ‘Nobody’s Business’ for her album, and then I wrote a song, it’s called ‘Put It Up.’ It’s more of an R&B record,” he told MTV News.
“I wanted to do an R&B record with Rihanna because I didn’t want it to be the same four-on-the-floor pop … At the end of the day, that’s what they expect from us, so I wanted to do more of a record that nobody really heard her sing on as far as that genre.”
