According to the First Lady of the Federal republic of Nigeria, the opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC), is a condemned drug.
Wife of the president, Patience Jonathan, said this on Wednesday, February 4, at her husband’s presidential campaign rally held in Benin City, Edo State.
Mrs Jonathan stated, among other things, that Nigerian women should adopt President Goodluck Jonathan as their ‘Valentine’ on February 14, by voting en masse for PDP.
She criticised plans by the APC to scrap the office of the First Lady, saying: “APC is a condemned and sour drug Nigerians must vehemently shun.”
Furthermore, she implored the women to vote for her husband, to ensure that the 50 per cent quota promised to women by the Jonathan administration, would come to fruition.
