Former vice president, Namadi Sambo has given details of why he visited the Presidential Villa on Wednesday.
Sambo, who spoke with State House Correspondents after the visit said he was at the presidential villa only to pay a familiarisation visit, adding that it is the usual practice.
“I have come to pay a visit to Mr vice president and Mr Acting President. It is a usual familiarisation visit. As you know, former presidents visit Mr President and former vice president visit the Vice President. I am happy to see all of you, our good friends. I want to thank you very much for your reception,” Sambo said.
It would be recalled that it is the second time the former vice president is visiting Yemi Osinbajo since May 29, 2015.
