The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC)  are breathing down the necks of radio and TV stations in Nigeria as regrds the nature of songs being aired on these platforms.

The commission recently banned radio stations from playing Phyno’s -‘ Man of the year’ and Wizkid’s song featuring Maleek Berry, ‘The Matter’ due to its “raw content.”

OAP, Gbemi Olateru of Beat FM made the announcement via her Twitter account earlier today cautioning artistes over the content of their lyrics and advicing them to do a radio edit if they really want airplay.
