This is actually Donald Trump’s third appearance on TIME Magazine’s cover this year

Life truly has its way of pulling surprises on us.

But of a fact, president-elect Donald Trump’s emergence as TIME Magazine’s Person of The Year does not come as a surprise. Every new American president gets the title every four years, so maybe we saw that coming; though TIME Magazine explains that election does not automatically put you on the cover. You have to have influenced news some sort of way all year.

But now, the joke is on TIME Magazine…

In two previous editions this year, the magazine had featured Donald Trump on their cover and both times, they had his face as a cartoon. We’re not sure about this but it’s worth considering that the guys at TIME must have had a sketch waiting for the third feature that would follow a Trump loss at the presidential election.

But alas! God was good to Donald Trump and he appears, sadly as Person of the Year, instead.

Here’s the first feature from August 22:timecover-edelrodriguezDonald Trump’s face was brilliantly represented as a candle that was in the process of a meltdown!

Then on October 24:

This explains itself!

But look where The Donald is today, sitting strong after the meltdown:

Trump is Time magazine's person of the year 2016

And this time with horns! Or do you not see the strategic positioning of his head against the letter M?
