Buhari recalls Nigerian ambassadors

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, July 11, recalled Nigerian ambassadors in foreign countries.

The recall of the ambassadors are said to be part of efforts to reposition the country’s foreign policies.

The development was confirmed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

He however added that it was only non-career ambassadors that were recalled.

“Yes, I can confirm to you that non-career ambassadors have been recalled by the Federal Government,” Adesina said.
