ECOWAS court adjourns Nnamdi Kanu’s case against FG

The ECOWAS Community Court of Justice on Wednesday adjourned IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu’s human rights case against the Federal Government.

The presiding judge, Justice Micah Wright adjourned the case till November 8, after an application filed by the defendant.

The Federal Government had asked that the case be adjourned in a letter, claiming that it conflicts with another case in a different court.

However, counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, Ifeanyi Ejiofor opposed the application.

Nnamdi Kanu had sued the Federal Government for breach on his fundamental human rights.

Kanu wants the court to order his immediate release and a compensation of 800 million dollars for the violation of his human rights.
