Well, our Senators have largely been silent, haven’t they? One might be forgiven for assuming they’d gone on another one of their extended (yet heavily paid) breaks.

Perhaps it’s a good thing. Silence and inaction are much more preferable to the head-scratching statements and moves we see from them so often.
