Hundreds of youths on Monday besieged the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) demanding that the governorship election of the state scheduled for November 26 be postponed.

The youths said all parties should be allowed to conclude their litigation before the election is held.

The protesters specifically mentioned the case between Eyitayo Jegede and Jimoh Ibrahim, both of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which has not been decided by the Appeal Court.
