Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu has said the Federal Government is planning to dispose more presidential jets after it had put up two for sale.

The Federal Government on Tuesday had put up a Falcon X70 and Hawker 400 from the presidential fleet on sale.

Shehu said some more jets will be disposed, stating that the Nigerian Air Force will get some.

“This exercise is by no means complete,” he said in a statement.

He also said, “The Commander of the Presidential Air Fleet will any time from now … hand over some other aircraft to the Airforce for their operations”.

Shehu had earlier hinted this year that a committee had been set up to look into sales of jets in the Presidential fleet.
