YNaija joins other media platforms in partnership with Guardian Africa

YNaija.com, the internet newspaper for all things young and Nigerian, Sahara Reporters, and others have been selected to partner with the Guardian Africa network.

The Guardian Africa network is a platform for journalists, writers and bloggers, where the best news and views from across the web is assembled.

The news site announced the partnership on its website and via its Twitter page on Monday, January 5.

“A big Twitter welcome to our new @guardianafrica network partners,” it said. Besides YNaija.com and SR, several other front line African media platforms are also included in the partnership. African Digital Art, The Afropean, Bakwa magazine, Contemporary &, Africa at LSE blog, HOLAA!, Sudanese Dream and Transition Magazine are also included in this collaborative initiative.

Launched in May 2010, YNaija is a curator of the African content, promoting collaborative action and telling the continent’s stories as they are and should be.
