A 13-year-old female suicide bomber has been arrested in Kano.
On Wednesday, December 24, the Department of State Service (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force paraded the teenager before pressmen.
The arrested female suicide bomber who identified herself as Zaharau, said she’s a native of Bauchi state.
She disclosed to reporters in Kano that she was recruited into the bombing business by her father.
According to the police, Zaharau was apprehended in an hospital in Kano shortly after a back-to-back explosion rocked a textile market in the city on Wednesday, December 10.
Zaharau had gone to the hospital to seek medical attention over an injury she sustained from the blast.
She was apprehended alongside other suspected bomb-making experts.
