Jonathan’s kinsmen give Governor Dickson ‘terms of re-election’

Governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson, has been given a series of conditions for re-election by the kinsmen of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Dickson, who’s campaigning for re-election, went to Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State to solicit for their votes on Thursday.

But little did he know that the people of the local government area had something called- terms of re-election.

Dickson was informed by the Ogbia people that if he wanted them to vote for him, he should complete the abandoned 14-kilometre Opolo-Elebele Road and also rehabilitate the non-functioning water facility in the locality.

The governor visited Otuoke, Otuabula 1, Ewoi, Otuaba, Ologi, Otuokpoti, Anyama, Okodi, Epebu, Otuasega, Kolo, Emeyal, Imiringi, Elebele, Opume, Oloibiri, Ogbia, Otakeme, Otuabagi, communities.

In all the communities, Dickson was given similar term, which is to provide social amenities in order to get support for another term in office.

The governor was asked to provide basic amenities like; constant power supply, good road network, functioning health centers, among others.
