Ask any woman how much she weighs (even though this topic is taboo for women) and if she chooses to answer you, she’ll say, “50 kgs.” I’m left wondering that if all the women around are 50 kgs, how on earth are they so unshapely.
1. The Number of Men She Has Been With
She maybe an experienced pro here, but no matter how many men she has been with, you can be sure she’s lying about her number. Liberation or not, Indian women still want to be seen as inexperienced damsels. Pre-marital sex is still a taboo in India and no matter how open society is about other things; sex outside of marriage is still considered a cardinal sin. Additionally, in case you’ve told her your number, there’s no way she’ll ever admit that hers is higher. So, this little riddle is a riddle that will stay on forever.
2. Her Weight
Indian women are known for voluptuous figures, but when it comes to weight, they’d much rather seem delicate by deducting at least five kgs off their actual number. Somehow 50 kgs seems to be the magic number. Ask any woman how much she weighs (even though this topic is taboo for women) and if she chooses to answer you, she’ll say, “50 kgs.” I’m left wondering that if all the women around are 50 kgs, how on earth are they so unshapely. The point here is that she’ll always lie about her weight unless she’s on the slim side.
3. Women’s Lib
The bra-burners may have crawled into some wall somewhere but talk about women’s lib, women’s equality, etc., are still doing the rounds and how. I’m all for women’s lib but there are some subjects that are debatable here. Women and independence, yes, of course, but when a woman tries shouting out saying that she doesn’t need men, now that’s something that gets my gall. Your girl may sing praises about women’s lib and all its precincts but no matter what she says, she won’t be able to live without men. This one’s up for debate and if it does make it to centre stage, you can be assured of fireworks.
4. The Fact that She Isn’t Romantic
This one’s connected to women’s lib. Women like to show us that they’re independent, self-sufficient, self-reliant and strong, and they are. But just because they’re all those things, doesn’t mean that they have to sacrifice them being romantic. And most women these days do. But it’s a fake sacrifice. The ones who scream cheesy at anything romantic are the ones who’re secretly jumping for joy at the attention. Don’t ask me when this started and I don’t even want to know. Remember, the ones balking at romance are the ones who secretly love it or they’re the ones with moustaches.
