Let’s not even lie, we had all moved on from Senator Dino Melaye’s graduation scandal. Like we had passed a verdict on Senator Melaye and had put all of it behind us for good. Other very pressing issues have gotten the Senate busy in the past week – their rift with the Executive early on in the week, the Meningitis outbreak, etc.
Meanwhile, Nigerians are currently sold out to the best thing on national television – spirit, soul and money sold-out – so yeah, Dino Melaye is hardly our problem, at least not until he drops another dope soundtrack.
But one man will not move on. Former media adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri is too petty to move on. So he shared this belated joke on Twitter hours ago.

The problem with taking swipes at someone when it’s no longer relevant is that such jokes don’t bang. And with Reno Omokri, we’re frankly tired of him acting the fool on Twitter. From his unsavoury nuggets to these sort of pettiness, we’re officially done with this man. He needs to take a break to decide how to act because this right here, is a little too below the belt.
