The kidnapped mother of Hon Remmy Hassan, a member of the Ogun state ‘House of representatives, has been released by her captors.
The lawmaker’s mother was taken by the kidnappers in the wee hours of Independence day, 1 October, at her residence in Omu-Ijebu.
The kidnappers had reportedly demanded a N50 million ransom, to release the mother of Hassan, who is a former Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly.
It is however unknown, if the ransom conditions were met before the woman was released by her abductors.
