According to the Twitter account of the President’s wife, Aisha Buhari – Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose is a ‘mad dog’ for linking her to the bribery scandal involving U.S. Congressman, Williams Jefferson.

Governor Ayodele Fayose had in statement issued on Monday alleged that the Aisha Buhari named in the scandal was President Buhari’s wife.

“The estate he built in Abuja is known to us. His wife was indicted over the Halliburton Scandal.”

“When that American, Jefferson, was being sentenced, the President’s wife was mentioned as having wired $170,000 to Jefferson. Her name was on page 25 of the sentencing of Jefferson. We can serialize the judgment for people to see and read,” Fayose had said in his statement.

Although the Presidency had reacted on Tuesday evening by describing the Ekiti state governor as a grown man who’s childishly obsessed with attention, the Twitter handle of the first lady would subsequently send out a strongly worded tweet directed at her accuser.

The tweet read, “Enough is Enough Fayose. A mad dog that isn’t chained. I refuse to keep quiet.”

While Nigerians on Twitter were yet to get over the shock of the first tweet, the handler (perhaps not the First Lady) tweeted another message – this time bordering on inappropriate and un-First Lady-like.
