APC lawmaker, Adeola hails Banire elevation as SAN

The National legal adviser of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Muiz Banire has added another feather to his hat as he has been promoted to the rank of a Senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Legal Practitioners committee (LPPC).

Solomon Adeola, representing Lagos west senatorial district, commended Banire was his new achievement stating that the elevation is highly merited and desirable for the legal profession.

In a statement by the media adviser, Kayode Odunaro on Sunday, Adeola  said the conferment of the SAN status on Banire is recognition of hard work and dedication in the service of public good in the legal profession in Nigeria.

“Dr. Banire who is a constituent from Mushin in my senatorial district is a people lawyer fighting the cause of the common man and common good. His dedicated service transverses teaching of law at tertiary institution, a rich private legal practice and meritorious service in the public in government in various capacities” Adeola stated.

Adeola said he had no doubt that the elevation of Banire would further spur him to work harder in enriching jurisprudence in Nigeria adding that the legal profession at the level of SAN need legal minds in the mold of Banire to clean out some sharp practices in the legal profession and the judiciary.
