Reverend Kingsford Kusi-Kyere, pastor of the Abokobi, Accra, Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has been accused in a sex scandal which is now being investigated by a committee of the church.

Kusi-Kyere is accused of being involved in gay acts with seven young men, who all worked on the church’s farm, aged between 20 and 28. Kusi-Kyere is the manager of the farm.

The Presbyterian Church stated that it was conducting a separate investigation into the allegations put forward by the seven young men who accused Kusi-Kyere, even though he denies the allegations totally.

During an interview with News outlets, Rev. Dr. Godwin Odonkor said “As far as the Church is concerned we don’t know whether it is true or not.” He went on to say that the church has set up an investigative committee to find out the truth. Odonkor is with the regional office of the Presbyterian Church.

It was also reported that all of the seven young men had accused Kusi-Kyere of approaching them and stimulating their genitals with his hands and a lubricant until they ejaculated.

Apparently this didn’t surprise some of the neighborhood pastors, who said that they had heard similar reports of this happening in the past with Kusi-Kyere and other helpers.

Dr. Emmanuel Acheampong, public relations officer of the Presbyterian Church, said that they didn’t want the issue to sound like it was one-sided. He went on to say that complaints had been made against Kusi-Kyere and since the church frowns on the acts of homosexuality, they would make sure that the right thing was done about the issue.

Acheampong continued to say that when the results of the investigation committee were finished they would publish the full results of their findings. He also asked the media to keep an open mind on the situation so as not to influence the findings of the committee.

Apparently, all of the seven young men who accused Kusi-Kyere had worked for him at different times and although some of them had never met, their stories seemed to bear a remarkably uncanny resemblance to one another, especially in the descriptions of the alleged pen!s fondling and masturb@tion incidents.
