The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai on Monday said Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau is a mad man.

He said this while reacting to the recent video released by the sect leader.

Buratai said: “He – Shekau – is a mad man.

“We don’t have anything to tell him, he is on his way to his waterloo.’’

He urged the government to put more effort on issues of reconstruction, resettlement of IDPs and humanitarian needs.

“There is need to ameliorate the challenges of the IDPs,’’ he said.
