On Tuesday, June 9, Senator Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara, emerged as Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives, respectively.
They were not the candidates of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, who were at the International Conference Centre, with other APC Senators, when the election occurred.
After being sworn-in, APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu and Chief Bisi Akande, were captured in a video, making their exit out of the ICC.
While Tinubu had a stern look on his face, Akande had his trademark whimsical expression.
When asked what he felt about the development, Tinubu replied saying: ‘No comment’.
That lack of reaction, was enough reaction for the reporters present.
