‘Girls kidnapped by Boko Haram fought to become suicide bombers’ (VIDEO)

“They came to us to pick us. They would ask, ‘Who wants to be a suicide bomber?’ The girls would shout, ‘me, me, me.’ They were fighting to do the suicide bombings,” those were the chilling words of a 16 year old girl as she described her experience while under Boko Haram captivity.

Speaking to Cable News Network (CNN), the teenage girl disclosed that she was forced to marry a Boko Haram insurgent that had attacked her village and kidnapped her.

The terrorist was said to have raped her severally over the two years she spent in a Boko Haram camp.

She revealed that the other girls kidnapped by the terrorist willingly strapped bombs onto themselves on suicide missions so they can escape the painful ordeal they suffer in the camp at Sambisa forest.

“It was just because they want to run away from Boko Haram. If they give them a suicide bomb, then maybe they would meet soldiers, tell them, ‘I have a bomb on me’ and they could remove the bomb. They can run away.”

The girl, whose name was withheld to protect her identity, noted that the recent increase of attacks on Sambisa forest had killed several insurgents and some of the kidnapped girls and several of the other captives.
