[The Church Blog] Its 4 days to TAPE; Here are a few things you should know

The outline of activities from House on the Rock this season is just explosive and the first one to go down is The African Praise Experience (TAPE). It is an annual event that usually holds early in the year; sometime around February but, this year for some reason it didn’t hold during that period.

We had all thought it will not hold anymore but Mercy said No! The African Praise Experience (TAPE) is a mini version of the widely known “The Experience” and promises to host a good number of Gospel musicians of African descent to a night of worship and praise to God. TAPE will be holding on the 21st of July (just 4 days away) and yes, it’s going to be grand! For those who would be going for the first time and who would need some help with getting ready, Here are a few things you should know about TAPE:

  1. The line up for music ministers for this year’s edition of Tape includes Frank Edwards, Chioma Jesus, Onos Ariyo, Samsong, Joe Praise, Segun Obe, Eben, Beejay Sax, Chuks Chudebe, Midnight Crew and Elijah Oyedele.
  2. As earlier stated, TAPE is organised by House on the Rock and holds at their auditorium, the Rock Cathedral, Conoil Junction, Lekki –  Epe Expressway.
  3. There is always a heavy traffic along Lekki – Epe Expressway due to the high number of people coming for the event and also leaving their places of work. Hence, you will be doing yourself a huge favour by leaving your house on time so you don’t get to experience TAPE in Lagos traffic.
  4. It’s an African praise experience; don’t come expecting the Hillsong and Bethel kind of music. It’s all things Africa on Friday
  5. There will be free transportation to and fro the venue from the following locations:

FESTAC – Mile 2 Bus-stop
CMS – CMS BRT BUS STOP BY THE FERRY JETTY
APAPA – Wilma Bus-stop (Mobil Filling station)
AJEGUNLE – Total Filling Station Boundary
KETU OJOTA – MRS Filling Station beside Ogudu Road Ojota
SURULERE – National Stadium
SANGOTEDO – Infront of Wadbash Hotel
AJAH – Infront of GTBank Beside Oando Petrol Station
ONIKAN – MUSON Centre Mall
UNILAG – Moremi Car Park
MEDILAG – Luth block 4 car park
YABA – TECH Akata Frontage, Beside SMBS. Don’t sleep on this one folks.

Well, that’s all for now. Watch out for more updates on The African Praise Experience 2017.

See you on Friday.
