As expected, Drake‘s new album –Views which dropped on Friday, April 29 is making quite an impact in terms of sales.
It reportedly sold over 600,000 copies on Itunes in just 24 hours of release.
According to the news website – The Verge – who reached out to sources close to Republic Records, Drake is well on course to shatter the first-week sales of his last album – Nothing Was The Same, which sold a career-high of 658,000 copies in 7 days.
Drake also confirmed the feat at a album release party held in his honour in his hometown of Toronto on Friday night.
