Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has lifted curfew on two LGAs in the Southern part of the State.
The two Local Government Areas are Jema’a and Kaura.
In a statement on Tuesday, El-Rufai’s spokesperson, Samuel Aruwan said the lifting of the curfew was based on the outcome of the Kaduna State Security Council.

After the meeting with security chiefs in the state, the governor announced the lifting of the curfew in Jema’a and Kaura local government areas.
The lifting of the curfew comes two weeks after the Nigerian Army launched a military operation to tackle criminal elements in Southern Kaduna
