Toyin Abraham and Adesua Etomi in heated argument at NEC Live

Nollywood actresses, Toyin Abraham and Adesua Etomi had a face off at the second session of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference currently holding in Lagos.

At the panel session titled, “How Nollywood is reclaiming the market from Hollywood“, Toyin Abraham attacked Etomi accusing her of contributing to the problems of the industry by not belonging to or participating any actors guild activities.

The two were later seen hugging and exchanging pleasantries after the session.

The panel also had Nollywood veteran, Patrick Doyle and CEO Multichoice Nigeria, John Ugbe who also lent their voices to the Nollywood discussion.

The 2017 edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference kicked off on Wednesday at the Landmark Event Centre, Oniru.

Comedian Basketmouth who spoke on another panel expressed that 2face’s protest march against the Nigerian government policies two months ago, would have succeeded if he had gotten support from celebrities.

He said 2face who was forced to pull out of the protest after several intimidation by the police may have “held his ground” if Nigerian celebrities spoke up in solidarity to the cause.

Basketmouth said, “It really pained me that we didn’t“.

 

TV series, POWER returns this June but first, here’s a teaser

Starz series, Power is coming back to TV screens for its fourth season on the 25th of June.

Producers, 50 cent and Courtney Kemp Agboh shared the exclusive first look at the new season on their Instagram pages on Wednesday.

We know from what we see that James “Ghost” St.Patrick is definitely going to prison after that humiliating arrest that ended season 3 and Tommy has another murder mission to fulfil.
