Kevin Spacey comes out as gay in his response to sexual harassment allegation

House of Cards‘ actor, Kevin Spacey has identified as a gay man in this morning’s response to a sexual harassment allegation raised against him by Star Trek: Discovery actor, Anthony Rapp.

In an interview with Buzzfeed, Rapp alleged that Spacey “invited him over to his apartment for a party, and, at the end of the night, picked him up, placed him on his bed, and climbed on top of him, making a sexual advance”. Rapp was only 14 at the time.

Spacey responded to the claims in an official statement he shared on Twitter apologising for the incident and added that he has no recollection of the event that happened when he was 26-years-old.

He wrote, “…I owe him (Rapp) the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior and I am sorry for the feelings he described having carried with him all these years.”

Spacey also used the opportunity to make his sexual orientation public. “I choose now to live as a gay man”, he said.

A lot of the opinion currently hold the opinion that Iyanya‘s career has nosedived since he made that major move from MMMG to Mavin Records in 2016.

The Kukere singer is in on the gist and has addressed it in an interview with Punch newspaper.

First of all, he’s not moved by the “assumptions” that things are not as they used to be. He says, “I feel nothing when people say I am not the Iyanya they used to know because everything is in their head...”

On the state of his career, Iyanya says, “I am fine, I am blessed and I am still touring the world. Everything about me is still happening on a high level“.

He adds that he should not be judged based on his social media posts as his reality doesn’t exactly align with the content on his social media.

Project Fame winner, Jeff Akoh releases debut album

You may not remember Jeff Akoh as the winner of the 2015 edition of music reality show, Project Fame but the 21-year-old has been all over the news lately.

His recent move?

Jeff Akoh has released his debut album ‘Lokoja’. The 16-tracker was released on digital platforms across Nigeria on Friday and is set to be distributed by Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation.

‘Lokoja’ was produced by Cobhams Asuquo, Oscar and TY Mix.

Following the release of the album, the Temple Music act also got time off to clear the air on some rumors that have been making the rounds in the past week.

Former Project Fame contestant and Big Brother Naija finalist, Bisola Aiyeola took to Twitter a week ago to announce that she’s in a relationship with Akoh. Of course, it got people talking and wondering!

Akoh has now clarified that Bisola’s tweet was only a joke that got blown up. He added that their age difference makes a relationship impossible.

Jeff Akoh told Punch newspaper, “The truth is she is not dating me; I am definitely too young for Bisola. She is more experienced than I am, so, we are not on the same pedestal. I can date someone older than me, but not by a 10-year difference“.

Well then…
