Here are some of the biggest stories that made rounds in entertainment – and the extras that unraveled while you slept and are sure to buzz this Wednesday.

R.Kelly’s alleged sex cult: More details emerge

R&B legend, R.Kelly was recently accused of holding young ladies against their will in a “sex cult”.

Following the allegations, more details have emerged from the alleged captive and R.Kelly’s neighbours all pointing to the fact that the singer may be innocent.

21-year-old, Joycelyn Savage whose parents raised the allegations in a news conference has called her dad, Tim Savage out for embarrassing her in the media.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Joycelyn insists she’s happy where she is and would love her dad to stop what he’s doing.

Meanwhile, Kelly’s neighbours in his Georgia apartment have expressed shock at the reports of an alleged cult. For them, “the crib is more of a party house than the home base of an abusive cult”.

They said they usually noticed women going and coming but it didn’t seem like they were held “against their will” as reported.

R.Kelly has also “unequivocally” denied the allegations.

Are you here for a remake of Thong Song?

Nothing prepares you for this.

To hear your favourite 2000s track remade by the same singer and it’s still a hit is bliss.

We like to think of it like this: This remake is for the kids who never got to feel the Thong Song when it was the real deal back then.

So here goes:

Blackface is back again with song theft accusations

Well, not exactly!

Only that he’s done pointing fingers and this time he claims many big artistes in Nigeria would end up in jail if the government were to place a penalty on song theft, essentially saying that many of our hottest jams were stolen.

In an interview with Hip TV, the former member of boy group, Plantashun Boiz who has repeatedly accused his old bandmate, 2face Idibia of song theft also said third band member, Faze is not fully aware of the situation and could not tell where the shoe pinches.
