Richard Mofe-Damijo and his “onscreen wifey”, Ego Boyo reunite for new TV series

We know the new television series will be called “The Mr X Family Show”.

We know Richard Mofe-Damijo will be producing it himself and it’s his first in his career.

We know now that he will be working with veteran actress, Ego Boyo, his co-star in 80/90s drama series, Checkmate and Violated.

RMD shared the news to the delight of fans on Instagram:

Tiwa Savage’s coming EP features only one artiste

And it’s Wizkid!

Tiwa Savage shared the tracklist of her surprise EP which she first announced on Sunday via her Instagram page.

Sugarcane will contain six tracks including the already-released club banger, All Over.

Wizkid is featured on a track called ‘Ma Lo’ which was produced by Spellz.

Sugarcane will be released on 22 September.

 

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde’s Alter Ego wins Best Actress

Star actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has been awarded Best Actress by the Nollywood Travel Film Festival for her role in recently released movie, Alter Ego.

The role was her first major appearance following a three-year hiatus in acting.

 

Drake gets a tattoo of Denzel Washington

Sade Adu, Lil Wayne, Aaliyah and now, Denzel.

Drake has a way of paying “permanent” tribute to the people who inspire him and he has just added actor, Denzel Washington to his growing list of the idols he will carry around all his life.

The Canadian rapper has tattooed Washington in his role as trumpet player Bleek Gilliam in the 1990 movie Mo’ Better Blu. Toronto-based tattoo artist, Inal Bersekov shared the new artwork via Instagram:

Drake also got a second tattoo of his close pal and rapper, Fif who was recently shot dead in Toronto.
