Janet Jackson publicly confirms separation from her husband 

News of Janet Jackson and her Qatari billionaire husband, Wissam Al Mana‘s separation was all over the place a month ago.

But Jackson has officially confirmed it herself via a YouTube video she made to announce her tour dates.

She said in the video, “Hey you guys, it’s me Jan just in case you don’t recognize me because I have put on quite a few since I had my baby, but I thank God for him you guys.”

Jackson added: “I just want to keep it real with you guys for a quick second. Yes, I separated from my husband. We are in court and the rest is in God’s hands.

Meanwhile, her Unbreakable World tour which was delayed in July 2016 to allow her attend to her family needs will be continuing this September as State of the World tour.

Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Maleekberry to perform at Jay Z’s Made in America Festival

Jay Z announced the lineup for his annual two-day festival, Made in America on Monday.

The Blueprint rapper will be headlining the festival himself alongside J.Cole.

But the great news is that three Nigerian artistes have made it to the list of performers that will be taking the stage at the festival in Philadelphia this September. 

Others to perform are Solange, 21 Savage, DMX, Pusha T and Stormzy.

 

MC Galaxy drops second album today as he celebrates his birthday

The Sekem singer is set to release the second album in his music career MMM as he marks his birthday today.

MC Galaxy took to his Instagram on Monday to share the album cover art and tracklist.

The 14-track album, Money Making Machine features a number of artists with tracks produced by Spellz, Masterkraft, DJ Coublon among others.

MMM also features two bonus tracks including a remix of the hit track, Sekem featuring American rapper and producer, Swizz Beatz.

 

Adekunle Gold releases video for “Work”

Work is one of the tracks off his debut album, Gold.

Directed by Moe Musa, the video features Adekunle Gold acting out the realities of a typical Nigerian hustler.
