Former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili, has berated the Senate President, Bukola Saraki for allowing several senators accompany him to the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) trial.
During his first appearance before the tribunal on September 22, Saraki was escorted by over 50 Senators from the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party.
The second time the Senate President would go to the tribunal, over 80 Senators tagged along.
Evidently miffed by the trend, Ezekwesili, took to her Twitter page, to accuse Saraki of using the senate for his selfish advantage.
Selfishness is being concerned, sometimes excessively or exclusively, for oneself or one’s own advantage… 1/2 @bukolasaraki

Selfishness is a vice and not a virtue because it disregards the good of the greater number—2/2 . @bukolasaraki

Selfishness is converting the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria into Supporters Club for your PERSONAL court case. @bukolasaraki

Finally, @bukolasaraki , such selfish “pocketization” of a Public Institution that you are perpetrating is NEVER sustainable. It cannot be.

This is the second time Ezekwesili would criticse Saraki, over the same issue.
Recently, she slammed the 84 Senators that accompanied Saraki to the Conduct Tribunal, warning him against privatizing the democratic institution of the National Assembly.
