FBI searches Trump’s campaign director, Manafort’s home

FBI agents have executed a search warrant at one of the residences of Paul Manafort, a former campaign chairman of President Donal Trump. Manafort, however, complied with law enforcement officers.

The situation according to Washington Post was said to have happened on July 26, the day after Manafort met voluntarily with the staff for the Senate intelligence committee. The incident happened without advance warning before dawn, the report said.

With the help of a search warrant, the agents entered Mr Manafort’s home in Alexandria, Virginia, to seize documents and other materials that could be related to Justice Department special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, the report added
