FG undertaking 24 projects in Kwara, Kogi, Niger –Senate

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Works, Senator Kabiru Gaya, has said that the Federal Government has 24 projects in Kwara, Kogi and Niger states.

Gaya spoke in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on Thursday during a courtesy call on the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, by the Senate Committee on Works.

He said nine of the projects were in Kwara, six in Kogi and nine in Niger.

Ahmed called for more FG’s infrastructural development in Kwara State.

He said, “The portion that links Kaiama-Kishi is very critical for us because our people in that axis are predominantly agrarian and they contribute heavily to the agricultural revenue that accrues to our people and the state.”

Ahmed commended the Federal Government for its intervention in various road projects in the state.
