Apparently, every Nigerian wants his piece of the national cake, which is evidently in abundance.
In the past couple of months, several entertainers have declared their intention to venture into politics, with some even taking it a step further by commencing campaign, case in point, Alapomeji artiste, 9ice.
Former Remedies singer, Tony Tetuila has also stated his interest in politics, as he has shared a photo of his campaign banner on micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
Having been away from the music scene for some years, Tetuila seems to have found an alternative career path, as he has declared his intention to represent ‘Irepodun Local Government, at the Kwara State House of Assembly.
He now joins the likes of Desmond Elliot, Julius Agwu, Kate Henshaw, Bob Manuel, 9ice, Richard Mofe Damijo, Nkiru Sylvanus, and other entertainers, who are making the switch to the lucrative career path of politics.
