Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry, 45, had a nasty fall and hit her head on the set of her new movie, The Hive, and she was taken by ambulance to Cedars Sinai Medical Centre in Central Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the film set was immediately shot down after the incident.
She reportedly sustained the injury when shooting a fighting sequence in the new movie. Barry had hit her head on lights in a 2004 film Catwoman but was not seriously injured, according to IMDb.com, a movie database.
Berry’s publicist, Meredith O’Sullivan, yesterday said: “She checked out healthy and was released. She’ll continue production as planned.”
The Hive is a thriller directed by Brad Anderson, starring Abigail Breslin and Jennifer Hudson’s fiance David Otunga.
Berry has been in the media lately over her high profile custody battle with her ex-boyfriend. The two have been fighting in court over custody of Berry’s daughter.
Halle Berry won the Academy Award for Best Actress for the 2001 film Monster’s Ball.
